Galleria V. Guidi presents the solo show Seeing the Voices of Others, dedicated to Giovanni Sesia and organized in collaboration with the Municipality of San Donato Milanese and Fabbrica Eos. The display collects over thirty works that trace the artist's last twenty-five years, centering on memory and the use of photographic archives.

The show invites visitors into a space where images, objects and marks evoke untold biographical fragments: faces and relics sourced from archives and flea markets become the basis for works that merge painting, photography and graphic sign. About Giovanni Sesia

Born in Magenta in 1955, Sesia studied at the Accademia di Brera. His work combines painting and photography: from bold colour and gestural mark-making to a mature approach that integrates found images and painted interventions. The balance of photographic layer and painterly gesture characterizes his recent production.
