Where: Masseria Li Reni, Manduria (Taranto)
The inaugural Forum of Italian Cuisine brings together public authorities, businesses and sector organisations to outline strategies for enhancing Italy's food and culinary system, recently recognised on the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage list. The event aims to turn international recognition into practical benefits for producers, restaurateurs and local communities.
Key discussion topics include protection of the Made in Italy brand against imitation and "italian sounding", agricultural sustainability, ecological transition, efficient water management and the sector's employment potential. The forum will also examine how public policies, incentives and internationalisation tools can strengthen high-quality supply chains.
The presence of leading political and industry figures will enable targeted discussions on measures to protect gastronomic heritage and enhance competitiveness abroad.
This Forum is a working space to convert cultural value into policies and concrete projects. For full programme details and participation information, consult the organisers' official channels.
