Venti a Palazzo: a public day at Palazzo Caetani

Palazzo Caetani becomes for a day an open cultural hub with “Venti a Palazzo”, a network-driven initiative that brings together local associations to promote the monument through activities aimed at all ages.

The program blends arts, memory and civic engagement to reimagine the palace as a lively public place:

• Morning: hands-on workshops including the photographic lab “From Plate to Film” and inclusive readings such as “The Biggest House in the World”, designed also for younger participants.
• Civic engagement: the reading “The Constitution Out Loud” accompanied by an exhibition dedicated to the 21 Women Founding Members.
• Afternoon: film-focused sessions on Ettore Scola, an environmental workshop “Let’s Recycle”, and a historical treasure hunt for children “Young Artists Discovering Time”.
• Reflection and exhibitions: theatrical readings on topical issues (for example “Rosa Post Mortem” on gender-based violence) supported by a photographic exhibition.
• Closing: a classical music concert featuring Mozart and Beethoven and visits to permanent displays, including vintage cinema projectors, cameras and historical documents.

“Venti a Palazzo” aims to be a concrete step toward establishing an open, participatory House of Culture rooted in the local community: an opportunity to experience the monumental heritage of Fondi directly.
