Opening: April 10, 2026, 5:00 PM. Exhibition period: April 10–16, 2026. Venue: Biblioteca Angelica Gallery, Via di Sant'Agostino 11, Rome.
"Fior da fiore" brings together words and images: forty poems focused on flowers are visually interpreted by forty artists working in a range of contemporary styles. The exhibition, promoted by FUIS President Natale Antonio Rossi and curated by art historian and critic Stefania Severi, with literary collaboration from Mariù Safier, presents varied contemporary approaches to the botanical motif.
Exhibition highlights:
According to the curator, the flower in the exhibition can awaken memories, nostalgia and beauty, but can also become a harrowing image in contexts such as war or environmental damage. Some pairings display tight correspondence between verse and image, while others offer unexpected conceptual readings.
Visiting hours: Monday to Friday, 4:30–7:30 PM. Check the Biblioteca Angelica's official channels for practical information and updates on related events.
For visitors interested in the intersection of literature and visual arts, "Fior da fiore" offers a curated path through varied techniques and emotional readings of floral themes, delivering a contemporary and polyphonic vision of the subject.
