Finziade Calls: Applications Open for the 5th Excavation Campaign at Monte Sant'Angelo (Licata, AG)

The fifth excavation campaign at Finziade — an ancient Greek colonial site — is set to begin in late April. Conducted in collaboration with the local Superintendency, the project offers hands-on fieldwork experience and continues the research started after the 2025 discoveries.

The campaign builds on important 2025 finds — intact houses, a craft workshop, a domestic shrine, and everyday objects — and will investigate the housing layout and production areas of the settlement.
