Majano Festival 2026: dates and overview

From 24 July to 16 August 2026 Majano hosts the 66th edition of its Festival: live music, family-friendly activities, automotive and sports gatherings, plus a wide selection of regional food and wine in Piazza Italia and the Concert Area.

Main concerts

• 25 July, 21:00 – Opening concert “Bolero / Carmina Burana” by the Ensemble Symphony Orchestra (over 200 musicians and singers), a commemorative performance for the 1976 earthquake anniversary.
• 26 July – Pink Sonic, a Pink Floyd tribute.
• 1 August – Ernia, Solo Per Amore Summer Tour 2026.
• 7 August – Tony Boy (from the album “Trauma”).
• 9 August – Noyz Narcos, the only regional date of the Cruel Summer Tour 2026.
• 16 August – Closing show with Caparezza (Orbit Orbit tour).

Free-entry nights and second stage

• 5 August: dance night with Merk & Kremont and Andrea Damante (free entry).
• 31 July: Marakaibo – Krepapelle d'estate.
• 14 August: Zucchero tribute by OI & B. with La Versiòn Cubana.
• Second stage hosts local bands, tribute acts and themed evenings (including a Vasco tribute on 24/7 and other scheduled shows).

Preview and side events

Preview on 30 May 2026 at Udine Castle with Bob Sinclar for "Sunset in the Castle – Degustando in FVG": electronic music paired with regional gastronomic excellence (tickets via Ticketone and Ticketsms).

• Exhibitions: free-entry show “Dal fiore al cosmo” by Bruno Zilli in Sala Ciro di Pers throughout the festival.
• Sport and gatherings: “Tre per un Gallo” relay (6/8), Lancia Delta Integrale meeting (1/8), vintage car rally (9/8), tractor rally (16/8), and a model aircraft display (2/8).
• Family activities every Sunday at 17:00; solidarity initiatives including the “Festival del Dono” on 2/8.
• Fireworks finale on the night of 15 August 2026, shortly before midnight.

Food and wine

The festival features three dining areas with distinct menus: Boutique della Brace, Cucina Centrale and Angolo della Bontà. Typical local dishes include frico, cjarsons and gnocchi di Carnia alongside grilled specialties and premium steaks (Fiorentina available on reservation on specific Fridays).

• Special tastings scheduled: trout curls (24-25/7), calamari (1-2/8), pizza events (7 and 9/8), Emilia specialties (8/8), and picanha/hulkburger (14-16/8).
• On-site wine bar and craft beer stands for pairing options.
