Hikes and activities in Lombardy Parks: 24–26 April 2026

A busy weekend of outdoor events across parks in Milan, Como, Brescia, Bergamo, Mantua and Varese: guided walks, night observations, wildlife releases and family-friendly workshops. Key activities scheduled for 24, 25 and 26 April 2026 are listed below.

• Friday 24 April

  • Parco Valle Lambro (Canonica di Triuggio) – 21:00: circular walk “Listening to nocturnal raptors”, to discover the forest and its inhabitants.
  • Parco Pineta di Appiano Gentile e Tradate (Como/Varese) – 21:00: “Stories around the fire, animals of the night” followed by stargazing.

• Saturday 25 April

• Sunday 26 April

  • Parco Pineta di Appiano Gentile e Tradate – 09:00: “Walk between art, nature and history” (approx. 5 km) with volunteer eco-guards; 14:30: creative nature-and-space workshop for children.
  • Parco Nord Milano (via Clerici, Sesto San Giovanni) – 10:30–15:00: “Mask Mask, tarot and nature” workshop and mask-making; 17:00: bike ride with the GEV to explore the park’s historical sites. Info: [email protected].
