Family-friendly event: readings, magic and safety in Corigliano-Rossano

When: Monday 18 and Tuesday 19 May 2026 (mornings).

Who it's for: pupils in 3rd, 4th and 5th grades of primary school, each accompanied by a family member (parent, grandparent or uncle/aunt).

Two mornings designed for children and families that combine the joy of reading with practical safety training: storytime and an educational magic show alternate with a hands-on course on pediatric choking manoeuvres delivered by qualified Red Cross personnel. A small gift will be given to each child at the end.

Programme (same schedule both days)

• 09:15 - Arrival of children
• 09:30 - Institutional greetings
• 09:45 - Readings and educational activities: educational magic show by Dr. Fiore Manfredi ("The Magic of Kindness")
• 10:30 - Pediatric choking manoeuvre training by the Red Cross
• 11:15 - Final wrap-up

Locations and times

Monday 18 May 2026 (09:30-12:00) - Centro di Eccellenza: reserved for schools from the Corigliano area.

Tuesday 19 May 2026 (09:30-12:00) - Cittadella dei Ragazzi: reserved for schools from the Rossano area.
