The Ivan Bruschi House Museum in Arezzo presents a varied 2026 programme focused on historical collections and thematic exhibitions. The season opens with a display on Italian banknotes and continues with photographic documentation and collaborative projects with major collections.
Content: the exhibition features about 370 banknotes from the Intesa Sanpaolo collection, tracing Italian paper money from the pre-unification states to the adoption of the euro. The display also explains technical aspects such as watermarks and printing methods.
During the summer the museum will present an exhibition focused on sculptures attributed to Michelangelo, documented through historic Alinari photographs (19th–20th century). Later in the year a project dedicated to the 20th century will showcase paintings from the Gallerie d'Italia and include partnerships with cultural events such as chamber music festivals.
The Foundation is carrying out improvements to enhance accessibility. In 2025 the museum welcomed approximately 11,700 visitors, reflecting sustained public interest in exhibitions that combine research and accessibility.
