Canti di Passione: ninth day in Martano and Zollino – 29 March

The festival "Canti di Passione – Ce Custi o Gaddho na Cantalisi" continues with its ninth stop on Sunday 29 March in the towns of Martano and Zollino. The event combines devotional singing, guided walks through historic centers and a culinary offering based on Lenten traditions.

Schedule

• 09:30 – Piazza Assunta, Martano: Banda di Sogliano Cavour, Famiglia Giagnotti, Cantori di Martano and Trio a Modo (Lazio).
• 10:00 – "Borghi della Passione" route in Martano: tour of squares, the castle tower, the baronial palace, the mother church and the clock tower.
• 11:30 – Forecourt of the Church of SS. Pietro e Paolo Apostoli, Zollino: performances by Cantori di Galatina and Cantori della Bottega del Teatro di Zollino.
• Zollino route: Largo Pozzelle, Piazza San Pietro, the "pisello nano", Piazza Pertini and the mother church.

Practical information

Guided walks are held in Italian by regionally certified guides. Participation is free but reservation is mandatory: participants must provide name and surname via WhatsApp.

• Participation: open to the public; comfortable clothing and punctuality recommended.

Food & local flavours

During the festival, local restaurants offer the Menù della Passione, inspired by Lenten, peasant cuisine: starters, first courses, main dishes, sides and traditional sweets for €25 (drinks excluded). This menu is available from 21 March to 1 April.
