Borgo dei Borghi 2026: Arenzano in the final

Date and time: Sunday 5 April 2026 at 20:30 on Rai 3. The program will crown the winning village of the 2026 edition, showcasing Italy's smaller historical centers.

Why Arenzano is competing

Arenzano carries Liguria's flag in the final: more than a seaside resort, the town blends Liberty-style architecture, extensive green areas and access to trails in the nearby Beigua Natural Park. This mix of landscape, heritage and nature makes it a strong contender.

Voting system

Online voting took place in the weeks leading up to the final. During the broadcast, segments on each village will be shown and a provisional ranking revealed. The final outcome results from combining online votes with the scores given by the expert jury.

Expert jury:

  • Tiziana D’Angelo — archaeologist and museum/site director
  • Fabio Toncelli — landscape expert and TV author
  • Jacopo Veneziani — art historian focusing on monument details
