Single ticket for Nora and Saline Conti Vecchi: an integrated route between archaeology and nature
Starting 14 May 2026, a new combined admission ticket connects two flagship sites in southern Sardinia: the Nora archaeological area in Pula and the Saline Conti Vecchi, a FAI-managed site in Assemini. The measure aims to enhance both historical heritage and natural landscapes through a more complete and sustainable tourist offering.
- Purpose: to create itineraries that pair Phoenician-Punic and Roman coastal remains with the biodiversity of the Santa Gilla lagoon.
- Partners: Fondazione Pula Cultura Diffusa and FAI – Fondo per l'Ambiente Italiano.
- What it includes: an integrated ticket for the two sites, with plans for joint paths and coordinated events between Pula and the lagoon area.
- Visitor benefits: authentic experiences, wildlife observation (including flamingos), and routes designed with sustainability in mind.
The initiative meets growing demand for experiential routes, helps distribute tourist flows, and supports local communities while promoting conservation of archaeological and natural assets.
