Museo Orodautore, housed in the Palazzo della Fraternità on Piazza Grande in Arezzo, presents a solo exhibition dedicated to Alberto Zorzi, a leading figure in contemporary artistic jewelry. The retrospective gathers an extensive selection of works showcasing decades of material and formal experimentation.
The exhibition displays about 350 works — including jewelry, ornaments and micro-sculptures — created by the artist from 1970 to the present. Highlights include:
Zorzi's pieces probe the boundary between jewelry, sculpture and design, combining diverse materials — gold, platinum, silver, copper, steel, ebony and quartz — with incisive, sandblasted and chased finishes. The show appeals both to jewelry professionals and to visitors interested in contemporary design and art.
Curator: Giuliano Centrodi, scientific curator of Museo Orodautore, who frames Zorzi's work within the development of contemporary jewelry.
