Assisi hosts the Festival of Shared Governance of Common Goods

The second edition of the Festival of Shared Governance of Common Goods opened in Assisi, bringing together 350 participants from across Italy for a three-day event aimed at sharing experiences and tools for caring for common goods and strengthening cooperation among institutions, citizens and third-sector organizations (26/03/2026).

• Attendance: 350 registrants including local officials, associations and third-sector operators.
• Key topics: building shared alliances and the role of philanthropy in supporting local initiatives.
• Tools discussed: emphasis on so-called "Collaborative Pacts" as a method to formalize local cooperation.
• Programme: ten working tables, plenary sessions and Saturday conclusions with the "Pacts to Collaborate" award presentation.

The festival aims to position Assisi as a national laboratory for best practices. During the event, voices of key figures were recorded, including Assisi deputy mayor Veronica Cavallucci and Pasquale Bonasora, president of Labsus.
