Giulia: Gemona’s virtual assistant now helps families and visitors

On 20 April 2026 the Municipality of Gemona del Friuli updated “Giulia”, the voice assistant available 24/7. Beyond administrative guidance, Giulia now supplies up-to-date information about local events, with specific details aimed at families and children.

• How to reach it: call the municipal switchboard at 0432 973211 to get immediate answers even outside office hours.
• What it provides: event locations and times, entry fees if any, parking availability, accessibility information for families and children, and useful contacts for further details.
• Why parents will find it helpful: it supports planning family outings, locating commemorative events for the 50th anniversary of the 1976 earthquake, and checking services and access suitable for young children.

The initiative is part of the European Edih-pai programme (funded by the PNRR) and does not entail costs for the Municipality. The project was developed by ICT partners to improve public administration digital services and local information access.
